Old Dog New Tricks

The story opens with Jimmy as a boy when his Father walks out and he is suddenly thrown into unknown territory as the main player and role model in his family. This forces him into early adulthood but he rises to the challenge.
He finds it hard to recover from the loss of his grandfather to whom he was close an also his mother.
War brings about experiences, some which come back to haunt him over the years and others he wishes to forget.
