She read the stories, saw the adventures.

Yet nothing prepared her for what would happen next.

Zoe always had a decent life. Friends better than she could've wished for. She held a secret, though. She was obsessed, in love, with a fictional world. She starved to live in it, to have a chance to win the heart of one of the characters. Yet she knew, fictional meant fictional. And she already had to adapt. Her grades showed how she paid little attention to school and more to this universe. She had plans that couldn't go through. Yet still, she had some hope, thin and weak...but hope nonetheless.

But something watched her fails and screams for help, a wizard.

The world had been hidden under them, the last to visit being the 'author' of the series known as The Hobbit. He had seen the great land, as a child. He wrote of it, convincing not one person. Yet years later a girl and her friends break the barrier, and become set loose in a land of unforgiving beings. Time had restarted, before the 'author' had come. Now, with one last chance, Zoe and her friends must save their world before the truth is shown.

The world had to be hidden, for if not...magic would escape. And so, they closed the gate, leaving behind the world of humans. Some humans had snuck in, and started towns such as Dale, later to be known as Laketown. The time would count down till another human from earth came, and tried to save them. Failures seemed to be a given. But with orcs approaching the border and the world restarting, can they save it before magic is released again?
