Kirstie Maldonado's heart has been torn to pieces by getting a ring ripped off her finger and she's been a mess. Even after four months, she's still hooked upon her ex fiancée Jeremy, heartbroken and torn apart.
Avi Kaplan's life has been turned upside down, he's doing everything he can to get Kirstie, his band mate to open her eyes to how he feels about her, how much he cares and loves for her. To let her know that she can move on, with him. He will catch her when she falls and never hesitates to do it.
But with no courage to speak, Kirstie is left clueless of his love for her. It even angers Avi himself that he's inspired and motivated to write a song about his complications and twisted love for her. It's a hateful song that swirls up a storm in their group; Pentatonix.
