Kai Koriyati was your average girl in the world where 80% of the population had a superpower called a quirk. With the rise of these quirks, heroes and villains came into play.
Like most of the children in the world, Kai aspired to be a hero. At least, she did until a tragic accident that caused her family to fall apart.
As Kai grew older, she faced the darkness that children claimed to lurk under their beds. She forced herself through things most people didn't think would happen.
Question is; will she be able to face her own demons?

"𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝, 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞." -𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 80% of the population in the world have powers they call Quirks. Some of the population is different from others and the other 20% are Quirkless. Lucky enough for Kanetsu Yoyume, he and his sister, Mizu, are apart of the 80% with their own Quirks that make them stand out as siblings. With one that has the goal of protecting them both while the other follows his sister, they're on their way to be heroes together. Soon, everything begins to go downhill as Kanetsu and Mizu continue falling down a hole of trouble. Them and the people they've befriended at the school soon need to figure out how to defend themselves...while having to defend others. ----------------------- WARNING! This story is pretty heavy and gets more dark in later chapters. If you are sensitive to multiple dark themes which will usually be named at the beginning of that chapter, this story is most likely not for you. I do not own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. The only characters I own are the (obvious) OCs. All rights go to Kohei Horikoshi.
