The Not So Awkward Girl

"Look who it is, the outcast of the century" Her pitchy voice irritating me. I look at Jesse, who's looking down playing with her feet not saying a thing to them.

"You are so sweet, you.-I point my finger to her mockingly- Ain't that nice to hear from Ms. Pink Pump High Heels Barbie isn't it?" I said giving her the most fakest smile I could look like a barbie doll with brown hair. She opens her mouth.

"Shh...Don't speak to me, I don't wanna hear your voice anymore. Don't look at me, I don't need them roaming and don't you dare even make fun or do anything to Jesse over here" Pulling her next to me. She continues to look at the floor. The blond looks at me like I'm a lunatic.

"Who do you think you are?" She says to me.

"The outcast of the century remember?" I answer. I wrap one arm around Jesse and give the blond one last fake smile before turning around and walking the other way.

Summer has come to an end and the two of them moved from Los Angeles in California to Rock Hill in South Carolina, not the biggest town you'll see. New town, new people. And new high school.
