Lilian and Keller are as about as different as two people can be. Lilian--awkward, unpopular, and independent-- is the president of the academic decathlon team and a member of the local chapter of Catholics On Campus; Keller, on the other hand, is the star quarterback: popular, athletic, and addicted to attention. He's also dealing with a crisis: the disbandment of the high school football team, his only sure-shot way to college. The two of them live in different universes, content with never crossing paths...
That is, until the two of them are thrown together to start the school's very first Girl's Powder Puff team, where for the first time in the school's history, the girls will be tossing the pigskin around on the field and the guys cheering on the sidelines.
Lilian and Keller are an unlikely team, and even unlikelier friends, as they butt heads, they find out they are far more alike than they thought. But when two people are forced to see each other in a new light, there's no telling what can happen. And even an independent, nerdy girl and a popular, needy jock can find that they can maybe fit together perfectly, or fall apart even more spectacularly.
Indie Jasper is a shy, unknown writer. Anson Fischart is the school's pretty boy.
Indie is not popular by any means, but Anson's status of quarterback, paired with his sandy blond hair and blue-eyed gaze have him at the top of the school's hierarchy.
As it appears, Anson and Indie are polar opposites of each other. Yet when their paths cross, it seems that they are more similar than they knew. Adding in some spiteful ex-lovers, dangerous encounters, and risky situations, Indie finds herself in the arms of her opposite time and again.
Before long, one question is in the back of every mind:
How can Indie navigate through her feelings for Anson, without getting hurt in the process?
