Peyton has been surviving the zombie apocalypse for five years, mostly on her own, in a little city called Marlboro. She's a long, long way from her home in the hills of Eastern Kentucky, but growing up in an impoverished area where folks still work the land and hunt to survive gave her most of the skills she needed to make it fairly decent.
