El primer juego y los siguientes están creados mediante la desarrolladora, idSoftware. Los dos primeros juegos estuvieron recientemente en PC, después se portearon a las siguientes consolas y, a día de hoy, está DOOM, DOOM II y DOOM 3 en todas las consolas de nueva generación. DOOM 64, es el mas exclusivo ya que solo estuvo en la Nintendo 64, pero este año estará disponible para las consolas de ultima generación. Los dispositivos móviles solo tendrán DOOM y DOOM II
