16 year old Maliyah and her twin sister Kaliyah had moved to Los Angeles, California with their older brother in hopes of a new and better life. What the twin sisters didn't know was that their older brother had connections to one of the biggest gangs in California; The 187.

After a tragic night in LA, Maliyah was left to pick up the pieces of her life. However she ended up with more than she bargained for. She had gotten involved with a Latino gangster by the name of Gabriel Arreola who just so happened to be a rival gang member of her brother's set the Sons of Saints, the largest cartel on the West Side. Realizing his lifestyle was too much for her, she cut all ties with him.

A night of passion led to the birth of miracle, a miracle that she'd kept from Gabriel for all of 9 years. What will Maliyah do when she is faced with having to not only confront her past with Gabriel, but remain on the run from becoming sold to Ricardo Barcelo the SOS head honcho?

Secrets, lies, and broken trust is all she discovers as she dives in head first into the lifestyle she tried so desperately to keep herself out of. How will she keep herself and her family safe from Ricky Barcelo who is set on having her become his? How will she face the biggest secret she kept from Gabriel for all the years they'd been apart?
