After the vampire war the wolves were no longer a free species. Alex and her pack are on the run as vampires try to make them into slaves or their personal guard dogs. As they are on the run they find themselves outside a big house surrounded by forest as if trying to hide from the world, there was a small window to access the basement with vampires right behind the only option is to go in. Alex watches as the vampires run by in search of them and as she turns to say something the pack hears someone unlocking the basement door.
