Plot: Lapis and Peridot are in big trouble. The diamonds have returned to Earth and are looking for the Crystal Gems, more specifically Rose Quartz. The gem to have known to have destroyed Pink Diamond thousands of years ago. Peridot and Lapis are seen as traitors because they began to work with the Crystal Gems. Lapis is scared. Peridot sworn to Lapis that she would protect her no matter what. Steven might have to go with them if Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst say so. Peridot and Steven both want to stay but Lapis wishes to evacuate to the Moon. Who or what will Peridot choose? The Earth, Steven or Lapis..?

The battle for Lapis's life has ended-or so it seems-and things are back to being semi-normal for her. She is enjoying her life with Peridot and the rest of the pack, but then she starts to notice things. Red eyes watching her from afar, glaring at her, begging for her to come near. Something tells her that the battle isn't over after all. Peridot remains vigilant as she always has, despite Lapis's assurance that it's all over. Consequences
Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible!
