Liv Faye lives in a time period where magic is real, but uncommon. Only few people have magic and they are called magic holders. Liv moves in with her aunt only to become friends with Asher, a super hot guy that she discovers his secret later along with her own secret she never even knew. Life gets difficult but she manages to always find hope and an hero and even become her own hero.
(Sorry I'm not good are writing review of books but I think the book it pretty cute and cool.)

Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted.
