No Faerie has left the mushroom circles or Faiena, the Faerie realm for decades. Human, witches, vampires, werewolves and spirts of the other world had forced faeries into extinction thousands of years ago. Even now their presence were mere rumours and silly stories and yet the hatred faeries entertained for the other world never faltered. When Avie a curious princess and Raphael her fallen angel lover, dares to dance on the edge of mystery plunging recklessly into the other world and abandoning all she thought she knew, everything suddenly doesn't seem so black and white. Now with a traitor in every shadow and a friend in every kindness Avie must dissect the truth from the lies embedded, embraced in a culture and history much to old for suspicion. For the truth is often far uglier and much harder to except then even fairy tales.
