Violet has always lived a life that everyone dreamed of, a big house, fancy cars and so much money you never needed to worry. However, even though Violet had all those things growing up, growing up without her mom made her realize at a young age money doesn't buy happiness. After living with her father, step mother and half sister, Violet finally decided enough was enough and left home for good.

After secretly plotting with her aunt to run away, Violet soon finds herself moving to the big city and living a somewhat ordinary life. But of course things take a turn when she gets off on the wrong foot with her neighbor, Riven Danton.

As different as these two first appear to be, the closer they get the more they have in common. Slowly beginning to trust someone after putting up walls and putting their love into each other's hands, will they be able to have their happily ever after or lead down another path to disappointment?
