After the sudden death of her parents, 13- year- old orphan Makayla Willington tries to survive on her own with her sister, always keeping track of her. One day as she walks alongside the river, she finds a boy and a girl- both homeless. Together they take care of each other, and try to not die. Which is hard at most times, but the main question is: Will they all make it alive?
