Reyna Juarez was tired of her bad girl rep and weed smoking habits. As an entering high school senior, she realized it was time to wake up and get "her shit together."
But after breaking the news to her best friend and having her whole group turn on her, Reyna realizes that she wants to help people like her former friends, to turn their lives around by giving them the second chance.
She learns about peer court, a part of the juvenile detention center of her city,a program that gives young offenders a second chance. Reyna decides to join the members with one month of training, to help voice and defend the kids that make poor choices,with the hope she'd make new friends, other members like her.
What she didn't expect, however, was a blue eyed dark haired boy to completely throw her perspective and plans off course- and not for the better.

She keeps it to herself for a while, telling no one. When Aaron gets a break from doing shows, he comes back to Cody and spends most of his break with her.
