"Some heroes have to rise from blood."

Burying grief in blood and magic might not be the healthiest option, but it's the only one Master Mage Sedgewick Alverdyne can bear. When his bloodlust draws the concern of his king, however, Sedgewick is shipped off the war's front lines and sent to spy on Abreyla's enemy kingdom, Onryx.

A mission gone wrong lands him captured and imprisoned in the Black Obelisk, Onryx's notorious prison tower. Cut off from his allies, Sedgewick strikes up a reluctant alliance with a fellow prisoner, the enigmatic mage, Bilara. The Black Obelisk has never been broken but a burst of magic from the inside might be just what it needs to bleed.

"Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread. A Shadowed Magick

17 parts Ongoing

Thief. Mage. Fae. Healer. Soldier. Outlaw. In Orelen, a land where mages rule and faeries lurk in forests, Bronwyn makes her living prowling the streets of Inasmont, picking the pockets of wealthy folk and performing the occasional burglary. But magick is dying throughout the country, leaving thousands of mages dead - or worse, without their magick, a shell of their former selves. So when High Mage Elora Caleris offers Bronwyn an ultimatum - to rot in prison or join her expedition to discover the source of the blight - she leaps at the chance to see the world outside the capital. An unseen danger simmers in the shadows. Glory or ruin are within reach. And the fate of Orelen lies in the hands of six souls... As long as they don't kill each other first.
