The Nights We Were

Kaia Dobra, the daughter of New York's most influential doctor, Angelo Dobra, has lived a life of luxury for most of her teenage years. However, when she turned sixteen, she stumbled upon a life she never knew would be open to her, and a boy she fell head-over-heels for. From the outside, it looked like she had it all. But in reality, she felt as if she was living under the shadow and iron fist of her father. Kaia, when she turned eighteen, decided to go and make a life for herself, out from under the protection of her father's power. In order to do so, she had to leave behind the man she had begun to rely on, and learn to stand up for herself in the real world, all while hoping that her past self wouldn't make moving on impossible.
