A Guardian
"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. So, I decided to re-write the original sequence of a short story, same plot and characters, just with current skill. Sacrifice [Edward Elric x Reader]
You fall to the ground, unconscious. Ed's grin turns down and his eyes widen in horror. A bright yellow light fills the room. He traces the thick black vine that reached out from the machine into your heart. Ed's knees gives up from under him. Al rushes in. "Brother, what's-" Ed turns to Al, tears and desperation filling his eyes. "She's gone, Al. She's gone. And it's all my fault!" Al's eyes widen as he stares at the figure behind his brother. Your body was vaporizing slowly. Al points towards you, shaking. The yellow light swallows your body, along with the vine and Ed's machine. Ed turns and hangs his head as everything falls silent. Al stands there wordlessly. Ed blinks away his tears, determination set in his eyes. "She's gone, Al, but I won't allow that. It's not a fair equivalent exchange." Ed looks up at Al. "We're going to bring her back." ~ Something weird is up. Your powerful alchemy powers were admired all through the land, and yet no one seems to know what alchemy is. That is, until you meet Edward Elric and his brother, Alphonse Elric. The two are fascinated yet understanding of your powers, and Ed is able to teach you some alchemy, though he won't tell you how he knows. Through many hardships with the Elric brothers, you begin to grow close to them, and even start to fall for Al, but he doesn't feel the same. Ed, though, falls for you, and you couldn't help but feel bad. You don't realize how you feel about him. That is, until Ed sacrifices the most important thing to him to be able to keep you by his side. ************ This story is based on the original FMA series after the Conqueror of Shamballa movie. If you want to read one for FMA:B, I'll have one up soon, as I'm not quite done with the series yet. But for now, enjoy!Complete

The Orion Legacy
Let me tell you a story of a kingdom that was once the most advanced civilization known to this day, a pinnacle of achievement that still astounds the universe with its grandeur and sophistication. Its twin towers were the centre of all knowledge of the universe, and their luminous rays radiated from the lights at the tip of each tower, guiding all travellers from across time and space back to its main doors. Until the day they arrived, from the shadows and as old as our known universe, we battled with all we had to contain this dark and mysterious life form. Our kingdom was about to fall. Our scientists found a way by creating a wormhole through space to a new world, granting us a chance to save our civilization. But something happened during the process... I was jolted awake to find myself alone, hundreds of years later, and all of those who had been with me gone. It was only after certain events that I discovered my immortality, so I vowed to rebuild the Orion civilization in this new world. One day, against all odds, I met her gaze, a unique gaze that only my wife Lisana had possessed. I later realized that it was her spirit reincarnated, as Kayronian we could only love one person, we were irrevocably drawn to each other regardless of distance and time. We lived happily until her death; many years later on a trip to another continent, I encountered her again, this time as queen of a Nordic people, multiple lives together followed, united by our eternal love and the immeasurable pain of reliving her death over and over again, in total I had to bury her with my own hands 87 times. The last Lisana implored me to break the cycle before it started again. Then the first occurrence happened, somehow they found a way to access this realm, through some rift, However, they were unable to keep their physical form in this world, i must find a way stop to them.Complete
