"The darkness was getting closer and closer and I was running out of hall, the only thing down this path was the wall where Talkin disappeared into. My running came to a halt when I slammed into hard, unrelenting stone. I started banging on the cold stonework praying it might give way under my tiny fists. I didn't stop until the gray stone turned red, my knuckles split from the pounding. I turned around hearing voices whispering as the darkness got closer. As if it was calling to me. I was waiting for the panic to turn into something more feral. But, instead, a strange calmness secured my body. It was as if my brain shut down completely, a foreign bewitchment pulling my knees to the ground and closing my eyes. Then I just sat on the smooth stone floor and waited...waited for the darkness to pull me into whatever lay beyond."
