Gözlerimden akan tuzlu sıvıyı fark etmiş olmalı ki kollarını sıkıca bana sardı. Buruk bir ses tonuyla konuştum.

Annem sarmış olduğu kollarını gevşeterek yüzüme odaklandı ve bana muzipçe gülümsedi. Artık sinirli değildi ve yüzündeki şefkat beni rahatlatmıştı.
