Bad Boy Gone Good

Rey had witnessed the death of the dark side. With the help of Ben Solo she had defeated Palpatine, and with Ben's death she had survived. Finally the war had ended and the light could rejoice at the collapse of evil, but after everything had come to fruition Rey was left mourning the loss of Ben. She felt it was tragic that he had met his demise right when he had not only become good, but also kissed her too.

Then before anyone could blink, much time had passed. Rey had joined a commune where she could live life as a regular woman rather than an extraordinary Jedi. People were finally beginning to treat her a normal person, and life went on. Rey started seriously dating Finn, she had picked up a position in the commune as one of the authorities, and she truly had an ordinary life.

You can only imagine her surprise when Ben showed up at her front door, alive and well.
