So, after more than a year, I'm going to try and have a shot at writing again. Honestly, I've written a lot of short stories for as long as I can remember but I've never finished one. I'd like this to be the first one I actually finish writing.

Dear readers (if I actually do get one), it might take a while for me to update this story as I will become busy again in a few days/weeks. But I hope you bear with me and keep reading until the end. If you do decide to read my work, I hope you enjoy it. This one is close to my heart.
