Setting my Sister's Dates is a story of a teenage girl in Manila, Chris Margarette, who considers herself ordinary after being descended from a famous kin. She is just a normal girl with normal goals in life. She is not weird or something. She is even not so devoted with her studies. She is just busy dealing with her sister's lovers. She is so busy while she can't even get one for herself. She believes that she does not need anyone for her and nobody seems to like her. She came to realize that her sister, Laureen, badly needs her when it comes to relationship. She has a mild heart condition which makes her family worry about her so much. That is why, Chris made herself responsible for her sister's love story. She knows guys not to be close to them but to help her pretty sister choose who is best for her; the one who will surely not hurt her and will be responsible for her for the rest of her life. Time comes that she deals a very hot music Casanova, Edward Stevenson from the music department. Every inch of him is what she investigates. All along, he met a student, Zachary Grayson, from the music club who is tutored by Stevenson who is related to the person she hated the most. One day, Chris taps Zach for help and they will be both held responsible for Laureen's date. Will they be able to make a difference in the life of Laureen? Or will fate lead them to a better path?
The story is Philippine-based with a touch of American culture. It revolves around romance, teen-fiction, and comedy. It's a new story which is inspired by the very famous author, Jenny Han.
