King's Cage Fanfic

Mareven fans, this is for you.

What if Mare didn't think Maven to be a monster? What if Mare kept remembering the boy she loved? What is she isn't able to keep up her guard? What if she finally gives in to His Royal Highness, the Shadow of the Flame?

Those of you who have read King's Cage and did not like Mare's behaviour with Maven at all, especially when he let down his guard, this story is for you.

I've certainly supported Maven and Mare throughout. I tried writing a fanfic about Maven and Thomas before this but it didn't work out. I deleted it. And now, here I am.
