Life is tough. But high school an be hell on Earth.
No one experiences high school the same way. Some really liked it. Some people enjoyed the memories and friends they made along the way and others, well they wish they could burn the school to the ground (I'm not stopping you).
I'm Ally Greenwood and high school is an endless torture ride for me. It's like the world is out to get me. At the moment, I'm improvising my way through life.
My life was never the same after I got myself into a little gossip which turned out to be a lot more than that. Who can blame me? If the tea is good, why not enjoy it?
Jocks, bad boys, a whole lot of nerds, murder, drama, school fights, jealousy and a gun? Guess I should start expecting the unexpected...

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. Her entire life so far had been like one sunny afternoon, passing quickly and soon forgotten along with all the other days that had no stand-out excitement or tragedy. It all started my sophomore year of high school. The first symptom that struck me was the constant headaches. I was easy to brush it off since I had been overwhelmed with before and after school activities. More activities meant more coffee to poison the pain of maintaining my reputation.
