Finding Nirvana

"Why do you sigh so much?". I open my eyes and look at him. He is good looking; thick shaggy hair, hooded dark eyes, shapely jaw covered in a 5 O'clock stubble, shoulders that I love, a 6 feet tall mixture of bulky and lean. Impressive. But I wasn't looking at him because of that impressive body of his. His question caught me.

I sit up cross-legged. "Isn't that a weird question? I mean sighing is normal and how much is too much?"

He's leaning against my study desk. Cocking his head to a side, he stares at me for a minute, " Sighing at every damn thing is wallowing about it. Aren't you too young to be wallowing over everything already? Where is the YOLO spirit and shit?"

"I never said I'm wallowing over anything. And sorry for not being Ms.Sun-fucking-shine. You're just assuming too much." I get off the bed and walk to the door.

I feel his presence swiftly move, before I realize he had pulled me back to the bed and seated me. Kneeling down he looks up at me, "Why Thea? Why do you seem like it's all too much for you? Why do I see exhaustion in your eyes? What demons are you fighting? " He searches my eyes for answers.

I close my eyes and swallow some air. I can feel his presence very near to me. But my mind isn't concentrating on it. The questions to his questions were far easy. I just didn't know how to even tell them. Maybe he's going to laugh on my face when I do tell him. Maybe he wouldn't understand how they effect me irrespective of how it sounds. Maybe I'm actually making a big deal like everybody dismisses. Mayb-

I feel a squeeze on my hand. "Hey hey hey! Don't run that little mind of yours so fast. I can almost see all the signs flyng around. Do not overthink. Nothing which worries you is small. Let me in." He ran a thumb across my palm.

I take a deep breath, "I am in search of Nirvana. Do you think you can help me in finding it?"
