The Revenant of the New World

You're the son of a world renown scientist who fucks up and accidentally creates a disease that gives someone powers by unlocking a dormant gene in the dna. But just as soon as the power manifests, it starts to kill them (I.e. they kill themselves using the newly unlocked genes).

Your father saves you by freezing you in a pod of liquid nitrogen. What he didn't know was that you were already infected. But before it could manifest and kill you, you were put on ice. 2,000 years pass and the disease has been cured......sort of......humans have gone extinct, the animals have become humanoid. Being the last human on earth, what will you do?
