After making a bet with his friends, 17 year old Brendon Rudd is forced into finding a woman to marry before he turns 18. The problem is he only has 2 months to find, date, and get engaged to the girl of his dreams. But when he gets stranded on a ranch in an abandoned part of Texas, he finds himself falling for someone unexpected.

Piece of the story:

"Rose" a gruff, southern voice shouted. "Could you get the door?" it said. "Of course Papa!" spoke a sweet voice from inside the house. Brendon stood mesmerized in front of the door. The young woman who answered it was the most enchanting person Brendon had ever seen.

Finding Her Own Home

24 parts Complete Mature

Allison Trumbull had accomplished every goal that she set for herself, but somehow, she wasn't satisfied. Los Angeles wasn't exciting anymore. Her job had become boring. She had become everything that she swore she wouldn't in life...she was bored so she would pack up and move...just like her mother...right? Or could it be that she just hadn't found her true home yet? Could it take settling in the right town and meeting a cowboy and his siblings to show her what home truly was? Brandon Stone thought that his life was going just right, until a dark haired goddess walked into his life. He bumped into her just enough times to stick in his mind permanently. Could he have found the one woman that he was meant to be with? What if he was meant to be with her but it couldn't be in the only place that he had ever truly called home? Would he be able to give up everything he had worked for? Would they give life together a chance or will their separate lives get in the way of the happiness that they could find together?
