Cinq brigands rançonnent une fermière enceinte à la sortie du marché de la grande ville et s'aperçoivent qu'ils ont eu les yeux plus gros que son ventre.
Ecrit en 2013. Une très courte fic écrite pour un concours sur le site la volonté du D sur le thème "Changer de peau." Il fallait faire une histoire courte j'était limité sur le nombre de caractères utilisables. Ça m'a pas mal challengé mais c'était un exercice sympathique. Je n'ai pas gagné mais j'ai toujours aimé cette petite histoire.
La fic met en scène un de mes anciens personnages de D&D ainsi qu'un PNJ qui aura toujours une grande place dans mon cœur, des années après la fin de leur aventure.

A young man with a mystery had been enrolled in a top school. After a life full of pain, and darkness held deeper down, he would have to come to terms with the monster he was. A RANGER IS BORN
First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
