Virgil has to get used to a whole new life, this new life soon including a whole new person once Logan moves in with his new boyfriend Patton. Virgil struggles to get through life and figure out which family matters.

He tries to convince himself he's happy as he returns to his house every night after working overtime and falling asleep on the couch only to start the cycle again the next day. One day he passes by a school after having to take a different route because of roadworks and he spots a cheery, light brown haired teacher by the elementary school.
