When young Katherine Trinh, only about 12 years old, finally begins her menstrual cycle, her mother takes her to her family doctor and finds out she is an early bloomer. Every woman in her family is excited, even though they've always seen something going on with her body. She's had curves for a few months before it's started. The only person she told was her best friend, Bee St. Pierre. Katherine has to go through her school without getting harassed or looked up and down from students to even teachers! Can she make it out of the 6th grade feeling the same?
