Dearest One, Darling Dear is a retelling of East of the Sun and West of the Moon, a Slavic Fairy Tale that evolved from Psyche and Eros, the classic greek myth that demonstrates the power of love and passion. In this retelling, instead of the most beautiful god and princess in the lands, it is a goddess and a young woman because it refines the villain's motivation and also lesbians. The story starts in a village, where Sarai, the goddess, watches Aster's life become miserable because the lord's son, a misogynistic ass, keeps proposing. Sarai goes to Aster's mother as an invisible being and pays her dowry so that she can marry Aster off to her instead of the lord's son. She brings Aster to her castle and they begin living together with Sarai remaining invisible, but Aster wants for nothing and is happy. After a mishap, Saraiis whisked off to her mother's castle and Aster has to complete a series of ridiculous tasks to return to her beloved.
