This is this the history of how the Earth died. Most people suspected it went out with a massive boom, but it was silent. A flower getting plucked from the grass made more noise than the end of the world.
Despite that, there was an attempt to stop the inevitable. David Anderson, Anne Smith, Nixon Cindervelt, and Gasmask were those that attempted. Though one can't break the narrative, re-write what has already been written. That's preposterous.
