A story of Idols in the K-pop industry, purely fan fiction. None of this is true, I just got the idea when I was working out.
JiaEn was a vocal trainee for almost 6 years. She transferred from one of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea, SM Entertainment ; to WA Entertainment ; and finally stopped at Pledis entertainment.
She knew the history of Pledis and girl groups before, but she was willing to take the risk to debut there, she told herself :
"Love your job, not your company, they might fall out of love with you."
JiaEn was someone on the active side, she was extra expressive during her performance.
She was from JiangMen, China. She signed herself up for an audition that SM was holding in China. It was the only entertainment that was holding an audition at that time in China. She was blessed and she passed it.
JiaEn's unexpected journey began when she stepped into the unknown world of brutality, physically, mentally, love, hate, conflicts, trust, unseen effort, pain, happiness and so on.
A French girl with big dreams, a bigger will, and a heart that beats to the rhythm of music moves to South Korea to become a K-Pop idol. Not just for fame, but for the stage, passion, music, the feeling of belonging somewher. She'll have to overcome the struggles of being an outsider in an industry that rarely sees faces like hers, the pressure of being constantly judged-by trainers, by fans, by herself, the endless hours of practice, sweat, and sleepless nights, the homesickness creeping in, missing the comfort of France but knowing she can't turn back. She'll learn to balance her true self with the "perfect idol" image she's expected to fit into.
But she's not just a dreamer. She's a fighter. With music as her escape and her weapon, she writes her own story-literally. Her songs become her voice when words fail. Alongside her trainee friends, she'll learn that the road to debut isn't just about talent-it's about resilience, identity, and staying true to yourself.
Will she make it ? Or will the industry break her first ?
"What if the paths my parents have been proposing me to choose weren't for me ? What if I wasn't happy with their choices ? What if I chose to make my own path ?"
