Two years after the new continent Pantala is discovered, Pyrrhia is at peace. Queen Snowfall lays an egg, and inside it is a dragonet like no other.
Pyrrhia's future depends on Frostbite and her friends. How can she save the continent if she can't even save herself? How can she trust any dragons she meets?

This story takes place about 3 years after book number 15. Contains characters and references to events from the three Wings of Fire book series, including the Dragonslayer. So if you haven't read the books, this story might spoil their plot. Wrote this in middle school very cringe. Snowdrift isn't like other dragons. She is a frostscales, so her scales radiate frost nobody can touch her or be near her in case of accidents. Now she has a chance to meet new dragons at Jade Mountain Academy. She meets a friend who is a firescales, so he can touch her, his name is Falcon, he is a Skywing. Snowdrift likes him, a lot. Except the Ice Kingdom is melting and there is going to be a war between the Skywings and Icewings. Who will win? Part 2: Falcon and ShiftingSky go off to the new Ice Kingdom. Once there an unexpected event happens. The three dragons go back and get there revenge. Part 3: The Skywings and Icewings are at peace now but not for long food and wateris gonna run out, ShiftingSky knows that, so she goes off alone to restore the Ice Kingdom.Complete

What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined...
