There are plenty of teenage girls who don't have to worry about their mothers scolding them for wearing ripped jeans, hanging out with friends a lot, and not kissing up to all the aunties. Nisha, however, has to constantly worry about her mother who only yells at her for not talking to any of the aunties, not offering to do the dishes at someone else's house, and not wearing proper Indian clothes. Nisha has many dreams to accomplish. But one day, she meets a person at college who, Indian like her, has bent every one of these rules. He brings new insight into her life and forces her to change as well. Stuck in an Indian household, and a love triangle, will she be able to find her identity and be free?
