Unspoken Wounds
Bella's POV: I've always been the outsider. At fifteen, anxiety and constant bullying are my reality at Bluewater High. Paige Bruckner, the queen bee, seems to live for making my life miserable. Her boyfriend, Blake Elford, the cocky hockey captain, isn't any better-or so I thought. Lately, Blake's noticing me in ways I can't explain. And while I know better than to let my guard down, a part of me wonders if maybe, just maybe, I deserve more than the life I've been given. --- Blake's POV: Everyone thinks I have it all-hockey captain, Paige Bruckner as my girlfriend, and a picture-perfect life. But it's a lie. I'm stuck in a role I don't want, living for other people's expectations. Then there's Bella Hernandez. Quiet, sarcastic, and impossible to ignore. Paige hates her, and I've always looked the other way. Until now. I see her strength beneath the pain, and for the first time, I want to be more than the guy everyone expects me to be. I want to be the guy she needs.
