Years after the great war with Lord Valor and his companions were banished back to The Abyss people lived in peace for a while and soon discovered that magic has many uses. 

Civilization evolved and while we use electricity to power our world they use magic.

It is now 1980 and Gielnor along with its neighboring contintent Amarthene ave become more modern like our world and now have cars, television, airplanes, and more! 

The capital of Gielnor; Phoenix Town, has been renovated to be bigger on the continent. Now with districts and subdivisions.

Each district has a sprawling spire called a Magic Tower. These giant spires hold condensed magic and they are the heart of the town's power. 

If one stops working, the whole district goes offline. Which can prove fatal. 

It is now the second anniversary of The Magic Festival. The Arcane Clan hiding among the people. 

Their target?

The Magic Towers

They attacked the festival and blew.up the districts tower that was close by. Killing 1000 people.

A few days later people are fearing The Arc and now Atlas and his companions must once again dive back in the adventure and prevent another war.All Rights Reserved

Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
