Rose, you'd think she was an ordinary girl right? Nice family, awesome home, and amazing friends. She's been living in a forest her whole life. Doesn't know anything of the outside world except from what the birds have been telling her.From what shes knows humans are vile brutal creatures that she wants nothing to do with. Her family and friends are animals, she understands them and cares for them just like any normal family would. She feels at peace, she feels loved here, until a group pf construction workers diminish her only home killing the animals as well. She is now discovered as the construction workers decide weather to throw her in a mental hospital or keep her. Handing her over to the handsome Carter Jones, her life begins to take a huge turn. What makes everything worse is that she keeps dreaming about the death of her family, is it the forest that is trying to keep her with them? Burned and chopped down like them, or is it trying to warn her?

When Rose asks if her best friend Lola can come with on the plane Nathan doesn't know what to do. He says okay, he knows they both will die. He gives it away in a few chapters of his own in part one of the book. Well Rose survives the plane crash. And it broken from it, one day a year later Nathan find Rose. And tell her everything, she is horrified, she hates him. Her love for him goes away. As the book goes on she finds forgiveness. At the end they do end up together.Complete
