This is a homestuck fanfiction. Jake is the main character and will be the prospective you will read from the story MOST of the time. It's in third person, though. Jake English lives with his grandmother and had found out that his best friend, Dirk Strider had been killed by a vampire. In a small depression, Jake misses school to take a walk. As he walks down the sidewalk, he sees a kid run into the road without looking. A car at full speed headed toward the poor boy. Jake made a tough decision to save the little kid.
