Well, welcome to my 3rd poetry collection, Dreams and Dangers.
This collection is a return to my darker, more literal style rather than the more imagery driven stuff of my last collection, A Burning In The Heart. This collection is about everything from the duality of life with good and evil (that's what the title represents), freedom, mental health, escapism and rebuilding alongside lots of other stuff. These are 10 poems, written from January through to June 2020.

"Thoughtful, often sad, and angry poems. It's an outlet. A way to be heard. Not genius; only jumbled messes of the multitude of my thoughts fighting their way out of my brain. There's so much I want to say, but not enough time to say it. Here are my attempts." (Poems, collection 1.0) the best of my poems I've written during the years 2017-2021, (all from the original Poems book), revised, edited, and occasionally renamed - and when I say best, I don't mean good, so... go read my other poetry - the ones with actual titles. cataclysmic is comprised of poems inspired by (but generally drastically different from) the poems from this collection. there's a fair bit of rhyming in this one though, and it's not too bad - if you're into that.Complete

// s o n d e r \\ - "the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own" Life can be dark, cold and lonely. Feeling betrayed, misunderstood, chewed up and spat out by the world, its when I get sonder, that I realise I might not be as alone as I thought. This is my autobiography, in a series of harsh and delicate words, painted as a story. Includes drugs, sex, alcoholism, depression, anxiety, self harm, suicidal tendencies, assault and other hard topics, so read at your own discretion. THIS IS THE TRIGGER WARNING. I wrote it, with the intention that, if there are people in the world who feel alone and misunderstood just like me, and can benefit in any way by relating to my stories in my poems, then I have done at least one thing right. COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. Nothing is ever solid or at least their perspective will change as I write the poem or rewrite it.
