I was young. 21 I believe when I met the man I fell in love with. It was a cold January 1st mourning. I had been walking for a year now. I know, it sounds like insane but it’s more than true. The human race Disappeared the year before. I walked that whole year searching for a life form. I guess I got what I asked for. I was walking somewhere Italy where I heard a sound. It was a whoosh as the wind blew. I followed that sound to the city’s major street where I found a blue box.
