In the hills beyond the four original Warrior cats clans, the deputy of MapleClan and his mate have just welcomed four healthy kits into the world, adding to the joys of Greenleaf. For many moons, the clan has enjoyed full bellies and warm nights, but not all good things last forever. Soon after the four kits become apprentices, a ruthless band of rogues, lead by a bloodthirsty tom called Owlstar, make their home just outside MapleClan territory-- and its obvious they're not stopping there. With the threat of invasion and the tragedy of loss looming over his head, young Wolfpaw must learn how to defend his territory and what it truly means to be a warrior. If he fails, MapleClan, and the home he's known all his life, may be lost forever.
