Where can meaning be found? Nowhere, once these beings have had their fun with technologies and powers best left undiscovered. This book and its running narrative as well as other short stories were created as a way for me to work through my burnout. This is my first published work of fiction. It was conceptualised during a burnout I experienced back in 2017. With support from family, friends and a professional with whom to talk, I tried working through the burnout over the period of a year.
