Pearl, a young girl who lived peacefully with her family was going through a dark depression due to her stupid boyfriend until the day when she tripped over something and fell on a lake. When she reemerged, she found herself being trapped in another world where she met the four Pevensie siblings . She soon discovered that she didn't fell there by accident because she was a part of a prophecy and an intense romance soon blossoms between her and one of the king of Cair Paravel.

Around a year after they have returned from Narnia Edmund falls ill and the doctors believe they cannot save them. A message from Aslan reaches the Pevensies; they can save Edmund if they go to Narnia, for the illness will not exist in that world. All 4 can go, but Edmund will never be able to return, for if he does he will die. When the siblings arrive in Narnia they hear Caspian has called them, for trouble has been stirring. How can 3 kings and 2 queens rule 1 country, with 2 very differently opinionated people.
