For Freya Sallow, it seemed like she had the worst luck in the world. She was born into a high achieving pureblood family, with sky-high expectations of her from the moment she opened her eyes. Her mother died when she was young, leaving her to be raised by her neat-freak professor father. Freya's always been the one to be overlooked - to be forgotten. When she starts Hogwarts, that changes. For the first time in her life, she has real friends. Sure, half her classmates hate her because they think the professors are playing favourites, but it could be worse. And then, in classic Freya fashion, it gets worse. In addition to navigating Hogwarts and the Wizarding World while a dark wizard is steadily gaining power, she has to deal with her impending fate. For generations, a curse has been passed from mother to daughter that will eventually leave them trapped in the body of a falcon. There's no cure, not yet at least. But despite the help of some of the most talented living wizards, time is not on her side. Updates every Saturday. Warning: Mild language use on occasion. {Covered created using Canva}

Epiphany

Lily's tired of the growing grudge that's taken over Hogwarts. She's tired of the Gryffindor-Slytherin rivalry, of the Marauders and their stupid pranks, of the blood prejudice and even of her best friend, Severus. James is tired too. He's grown sick of this game of pretend, where everyone acts as if everything's fine when it's really not. His friend group is drifting apart, his grades are plummeting and now there are all these expectations! Something needs to change this year. Whether that's for the better or the worse is yet to be determined.
