Was passiert wenn aus einer jungen Werwölfin auf einmal eine Magierin wird? Melanie ist Tochter der Alphas, doch nie als Alpha vorgesehen - im Gegensatz zu ihrem Zwillingsbruder. Was passiert wenn sie auf einmal das Rudel verlassen und sich als Alpha ihres eigenen Rudels durchschlagen soll? Was würde passieren, wenn jemand ihr offenbaren würde, das sie magische Kräfte hätte? Wahrscheinlich würde sie denjenigen für verrückt erklären? Und wenn sie nun selbst diejenige ist die diese Kräfte an sich entdeckt...?
