In this small town, they are cut off from the rest around them do to a beast in the woods. Any who have entered have never come back to their homes and loved ones but when a father never comes back after years has passed his daughter decides to go looking for him herself. Along the way, she will meet new friends and find something special that was thought to only be real in stories before knowing what she was really meant to be.

Russell is a subversive and careless 16 year old. He's reckless and enjoys breaking rules with some of his "friends". But then, gets caught and thrown into a "boot camp". When he gets the wrong people mad, he eventually ends up alone in the woods. It's crazy what a week alone in the woods can do to you...
