Valeria Thomas is a college student who left her unfortunate past for a new life in New York as an astrology major. College life seems simple enough until she lands the dream job and guy that she always dreamed of. Now she is helping the world-renowned astrophysicist, Jane Foster, and her lesser known intern, Darcy, in their lab in the newly rebuilt Stark Tower. Val is living the life she always wanted until strange occurrences. Then one day when Jane and Darcy are away, a mischievous Asgardian appears in her apartment and demands her help. Val goes along for the fact that if she doesn't Loki might try to retake over the world. What's she going to tell Jane if she asks her where she's been going every night? What is she supposed to do when the icy, heartless god of lies isn't as cold as she thought? And what is Loki not telling her?
